Matthew D.H. Gray

I am responsible for the design of The Varsity newspaper, Canada's largest student newspaper, with a weekly circulation of 20,000. I ensure the visual consistency of the publication, and oversee a team of paginators who lay out the sections.

As an active member of the University of Toronto community, I provide advice and guidance to first-year students who are new to the post secondary experience.

Globalist Publications, Ltd. is the publisher of The Toronto Globalist magazine. Founded in 2005, The Globalist is the University of Toronto's only international affairs magazine. It is a member of the Global21 network, comprised of magazines at premier universities around the world.

Varsity Publications Inc. is the publisher of Canada's largest student newspaper. Founded in 1880, The Varsity has a circulation of 20,000 copies per week at the University of Toronto.

As Chief Operating Officer, I am responsible for oversight of the day-to-day business operations of the corporation.

Manages a five year old international affairs magazine at the University of Toronto, and oversees all departments of the publication.
• Created new fundraising initiatives through parent group

• Created online presence and MARCOM strategy
• Launched editorial collaborations with sister chapters

• Appointed 'Special Editor' during 2010 Egyptian Revolution, was responsible for curating content
